What is ParentPal?

ParentPal is a marketplace for kids’ school-holiday activities. We bring together the long-standing local providers your neighbours already book with — camps, workshops, sports clinics, surf, STEM, dance — so you can sort, compare and book in 30 seconds.

How does ParentPal work?

Add your kids’ ages once, then filter by suburb, dates, and what they’re into. Book and pay in one tap. We send the night-before rundown by text so you know drop-off, pick-up, and what to bring.

Is it free to use?

Yes. The ParentPal app is free for parents. You only pay the price of the activity you book, set by the provider. No subscription, no markup.

How do I book an activity?

Tap any activity to view details, then tap Book. Choose which children to enrol, review the total, complete payment with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You get instant confirmation.

Can I book for multiple children at once?
+
Yes. Add all your children to your family profile and ParentPal will only show activities that fit their ages. You can book multiple children into the same session in one go.

What if an activity is full?
+
If a session is at capacity you can join the waitlist. If a spot opens you’ll be notified by email and have 24 hours to claim it before we offer it to the next family in line.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay for one-tap checkout.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Payments are processed through Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). Your card details never touch the provider, and we never store full card numbers on our side.

When will I be charged?

You’re charged immediately when you complete a booking. You’ll get a confirmation email with a receipt straight away.
Cancellations
What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations more than 30 days before the activity date are eligible for a full refund. Inside 30 days, the provider’s own policy applies — we show this clearly before you pay.

What if my child gets sick the morning of?

Each provider sets their own sick-day policy and it’s shown clearly before you pay. Most offer a credit or refund with 24 to 48 hours’ notice.

How do I cancel a booking?

Open the booking in the ParentPal app and tap Cancel. If you’re eligible for a refund it’ll be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

How do I create an account?

Tap Sign up, enter your email and a password, then add your children’s ages and any allergies or support needs. The whole thing takes about a minute.

Can I manage multiple children on one account?

Yes. Add as many children as you have. When booking, select which children to enrol.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Tap Sign in, then Forgot password? We’ll email you a reset link.

How do you handle my child’s info?
+
Stored in Australia, never sold, only shared with the specific provider you’ve booked with, and only the fields they need (for example, allergies for a cooking class).

Are the providers safe?

We launch in each suburb with providers who already run long-standing programs there. Each is a real business with their own Working with Children Check obligations, insurance and operational standards. Our own provider verification process is being built out for our next phase.

Where does ParentPal work?

We’re starting on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, then rolling out across the rest of Sydney, then NSW, then nationally. Each school holiday we add new suburbs.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet. We’re iOS-first while we polish the core experience on the Northern Beaches. An Android app is in active development.

How can I list my activities on ParentPal?
+
Head to the Provider Portal and apply to list. Most providers are reviewed within 1–2 business days. We don’t charge any upfront fees — we only earn when we deliver you bookings.
