Dolphins Full Day Workshop

About this activity

In this fun, full day workshop, we will start by looking at surfboard designs and designing our own cool surfboard! We will paint these with acrylic paint before stopping for morning tea. Next, we paint our gorgeous dolphins by starting with our ocean backgrounds. We will use acrylic paint on a 40 x 50cm canvas. You will receive guided, 'step by step' tuition and learn about acrylic painting techniques. After lunch, we will add any final touches, before our third and final relaxing activity which is creating miniature creatures/animals with polymer clay! These can be baked at home to harden. Please pack a drink, morning tea and lunch for your child and dress them in clothes suitable for messy play. Held at North Balgowlah Community Centre. Ages 6-14, small guided class. All art materials and aprons provided. Please bring a drink bottle and snacks; full-day workshops also need a packed lunch.
