Chameleon Full Day Workshop

Come and have a blast in this full day workshop where our main activity will be painting this cheeky chameleon in acrylic paint!    Our creative day begins by learning all the fun ways to dye our T-shirts and get these banded up and soaking before we stop for morning tea.  After morning tea, we begin our chameleons on a 40 x 50cm canvas with acrylic paint. You will receive guided, 'step by step' tuition and learn about acrylic painting techniques and complimentary colours, adding accents in neon orange and pink! Next we hang our tshirts out to dry before we break for lunch. We will return with fresh eyes to add our finishing touches to our chameleon paintings.  The rest of the afternoon will be spent relaxing and making polymer clay animals/food which you will take home to harden in the oven. Please pack a drink, morning tea and lunch for your child and dress them in clothes suitable for messy play. Held at North Balgowlah Community Centre. Ages 6-14, small guided class. All art materials and aprons provided. Please bring a drink bottle and snacks; full-day workshops also need a packed lunch.
